1 Samuel 25:21

SV	David nu had gezegd: Trouwens ik heb te vergeefs bewaard al wat deze in de woestijn heeft, alzo dat er niets van alles, wat hij heeft, gemist is; en hij heeft mij kwaad voor goed vergolden.
WLC	וְדָוִ֣ד אָמַ֗ר אַךְ֩ לַשֶּׁ֨קֶר שָׁמַ֜רְתִּי אֶֽת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֤ר לָזֶה֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר וְלֹא־נִפְקַ֥ד מִכָּל־אֲשֶׁר־לֹ֖ו מְא֑וּמָה וַיָּֽשֶׁב־לִ֥י רָעָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת טֹובָֽה׃
Trans.	wəḏāwiḏ ’āmar ’aḵə laššeqer šāmarətî ’eṯ-kāl-’ăšer lāzeh bammiḏəbār wəlō’-nifəqaḏ mikāl-’ăšer-lwō mə’ûmâ wayyāšeḇ-lî rā‘â t^aḥaṯ ṭwōḇâ:

AC	כא ודוד אמר אך לשקר שמרתי את כל אשר לזה במדבר ולא נפקד מכל אשר לו מאומה וישב לי רעה תחת טובה
ASV	Now David had said, Surely in vain have I kept all that this fellow hath in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained unto him: and he hath returned me evil for good.
BE	Now David had said, What was the use of my taking care of this man's goods in the waste land, so that there was no loss of anything which was his? he has only given me back evil for good.
Darby	Now David had said, Surely, in vain have I kept all that this [man] had in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that was his; and he has requited me evil for good.
ELB05	David aber hatte gesagt: Fürwahr, umsonst habe ich alles behütet, was diesem Menschen in der Wüste gehörte, so daß nicht das Geringste vermißt wurde von allem, was sein ist; und er hat mir Böses für Gutes vergolten!
LSG	David avait dit: C'est bien en vain que j'ai gardé tout ce que cet homme a dans le désert, et que rien n'a été enlevé de tout ce qu'il possède; il m'a rendu le mal pour le bien.
Sch	David aber sprach: Wohlan, ich habe alles, was dieser in der Wüste hat, umsonst behütet, so daß da nichts gefehlt hat an allem, was sein ist; und er bezahlt mir Gutes mit Bösem!
